Premiere Dance Hillsborough’s Dynamics Company Dancers finished their season on a high note at Dancer’s Inc in Cherry Hill, NJ at the end of April. The Premiere Dynamics attended 3 regional competitions earlier in the season including Starbound in Bridgewater, NJ, Star Systems East Brunswick, NJ, and the National Dance Showcase in Moorestown, NJ, where they excelled and brought home several Top Awards.
After competing for three days at Dancer’s Inc, the company brought home 12 first place overalls, had 58 dances that placed in the top 10 overalls, 2 Prestige Elite Awards (within 3 points from a perfect score) Catherine Flynn with “Right or Wrong”, choreographed by Miss Lisa Burton and Mia Jaderlund with “Mama”, choreographed by Miss Michelle Cunningham, countless Judge’s Awards, a convention scholarship to Adrianna Thompson, one of the company’s teen soloists, an Entertainment Award to “Feel The Noise”, choreographed by Miss Corinna Ahart, Mia Jaderlund winning Dancer’s Inc Sr. Miss Regional Champion and the Top Technique Award for the studio. The company dancers wrapped up the weekend by taking home the Top Studio Award, an award that is given to the studio with the highest scoring dances of the weekend.
The Dynamics Company is made up of over 120 skillful dancers competing in 108 beautifully choreographed routines this season. Michelle Cunningham, Studio Director and VP of the Dynamics Company said, “This season has brought so many wonderful memories for all the dancers and their families. They have so much to be proud of. Their hard work and dedication has paid off once again. I am so proud to see all of the camaraderie amongst the dancers, Premiere is a place where your dance friends become family.”
The Dynamics dancers will be attending Nationals at Starbound National Dance Competition at Foxwoods in Connecticut at the end of June. They are hoping to continue their winning streak as Starbound’s National Champions for the 3rd year in a row and maintain their top ranking as one of Starbound’s Top 10 studios in the nation. They are especially excited to be representing Premiere Dance Hillsborough as the #2 ranked studio in the USA!
