Premiere Dance Hillsborough’s Dynamics company dancers have been on a dance competition winning streak for the past month, attending 3 regional competitions including Starbound in Bridgewater, NJ, Star Systems East Brunswick, NJ, and the National Dance Showcase in Moorestown, NJ. The highly decorated team won several first place overalls at their first two competitions, ranging from the Petites to the Seniors. The dancers also took home “Choreography Awards” as well as Special Judges Awards and countless “Top Ten” scores. The Juniors swept the “Top Five” at Starbound and the Petites swept the “Top Five” at Star Systems.
The success of the Dynamics team continued this past weekend in Moorestown, NJ at the National Dance Showcase. They brought home 13 first place overalls, had 61 dances that placed in the top 10 overalls, 5 Platinum Perfections (a score that was 5 points within from perfect), 4 choreography awards (Dreams Come True-Miss Michelle, Muddy Waters-Miss Michelle, Jumpin’ Jack-Miss Allie, We Belong-Miss Lisa), 2 Star Champion Scholarships, senior Mia Jaderlund winning Senior Miss NDS, an Impact Award (“Take Me Home”-Miss Michelle), and Miss Michelle’s Teen Small Group “Rise” winning the Teen Showcase.
The Dynamics Company is made up of over 100 skillful dancers competing in 108 beautifully choreographed routines this season. Michelle Cunningham, VP of the Dynamics Company said, “The Premiere Dynamics Company dancers consistently work hard and represent on all levels. Their determination and drive along with award winning choreography and technical training help them to continue on their path to achieving great things.”
The Dynamics dancers will be participating in 1 more Regional Competition before they compete at the national level in June. They are hoping to continue their winning streak and maintain their top 10 ranking and are especially excited to be representing Premiere Dance Hillsborough as the #1 ranked studio in the USA!
